Feb 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) We have heard of stories of robbery and theft where thieves use knife or pistol and even gun (with or without bullets) for threatening. However, innovative ideas of stealing money and goods are coming up. Simple handy things can sometimes be used for stealing. Sounds weird, but, a thief in Hamelin, a town in Germany, just pulled it off. He robbed an amusement arcade after threatening the attendant with a cup of coffee according to reports.

A police spokesperson said that he was not going to spill the coffee on her. However, he threatened that he would hit her with the cup full of hot coffee. Perhaps he ordered a cup of coffee and once it was in his possession, he used it as a weapon. The thief forced the 26-year-old attendant to open the cash cabinet by threatening to hit her with the cup. After that he ran away with the money.

The police refused to disclose how much money he took from the attendant who was alone in the arcade. The police spokesperson said that he did not want to give ideas and encourage others by revealing the whole story.

This is an unusual story of theft. However, once the news is out, it will surely encourage others to steal things in the same way. It seems more attendants should be there for guarding arcades. If there would have been more than one attendant at the spot, the thief would perhaps not been successful. There should be trained attendants who can handle such issues.
