Sep 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is still a little more than a month left for Halloween but the preparations for Halloween are on and all the seasonal stores selling scary outfits and other Halloween items used in decorating the house or the front porch have opened up. One famous and much popular shop is Halloween express which opened up three weeks ago. Ted Cloutier with Halloween expressed explained the joyous feelings of the people and how both the people and the shop owners wait for Halloween to come. It has been estimated by the National Retail federation that $4.75 billion had been spent last year alone on Halloween.

Halloween express is a seasonal shop which is open for about two months during the month of September to October and is considered one hell of a shop for Halloween fans as it brings them a lot of variety on masks, fog machines, lights and various items to decorate their houses and the front porch. The shop was opened in 1990 and is estimated to have three hundred stores based in Owenton, Kentucky.

Halloween is a festival celebrated on the 31st of October. This is a time of harvest and the belief in the ancient world was that on this day the veil between the physical world and the other world is at its thinnest thereby allowing spirits to come in who were thought to be highly active on this night. The festival was carried on to protect the crops. Though now it is a night of fun where people dress up in scary costumes and masks and decorate their houses and hold Halloween parties.
