Haisong JiangNewark, Jan 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Security officials have finally arrested the man, who had breached the security measures of the Newark airport and led to temporary lockdown of the airport. It has been reported that a 28 year old man, Haisong Jiang, was the trespasser, who had tried to enter from the Terminal C that made the already boarded passengers to undergo security scanners once again.

The attempt to enter the Terminal C without permission had alarmed the officials and many feared of another terror probe. However, the latest reports that surfaced indicated that the man did not have any evil intention. It has been reported that he had entered the prohibited area for meeting a lady and hug her. Though the man did not have any crime motive, he had been charged with criminal trespass for entering the guarded area illegally.

The video recording that has helped to arrest the man showed that he had crossed the rope barrier to enter the secured area and led to almost seven hours lockdown of the airport. Haisong Jiang’s act has annoyed the travelers, who were supposed to board flights on Sunday evening. Airport officials were also shocked by this act and will take necessary precautions to prevent this type of situations in future. Senator Frank R. Lautenberg said that the arrest of Haisong Jiang would help authorities observe the matter more minutely and restrict such attempts. The failed blast attempt on the Detroit Airport made the officials to increase the security scanning in the airports and it is quite surprising that a man had violated such strong security measures for a lady.
