Gunman takes Stissing Mountain High School’s principal as hostage

- New York, Nov 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a very sad incident, a gunman has taken a principal & an assistant principal, of an Upstate New York school, Stissing Mountain High School as hostages.
Stissing Mountain High School is currently on a complete lock down as a gunman walked into the Duchess County high school earlier today in the morning with a gun, which scared the students and the teachers alike.
The gunman is believed to be a 40-year-old former student of the school and he is holding the principal and assistant principal as hostages. However the parents and the guardians need not be necessarily worried as all the students are reported to be safe.
The school is located in Pine Plains, NY, which is a rural section of NY about 90 from NYC.
According to the latest reports from AP, the gunman has surrendered around 10 am E.T.
