Greely, CO man sentenced for his role in heavy equipment and automobile theft scheme

DENVER, COLORADO (BNO NEWS) – A Greely, Colorado man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for his role in a heavy equipment and automobile theft scheme in Denver and northern Colorado, prosecutors announced on Monday.

Shawn Robert Adolf, 35, aka “Trouble”, was part of a theft ring which stole heavy equipment and various vehicles to subsequently sell them. Adolf was also ordered to pay $88,000 in restitution to his victims.

Adolf is the sixth and last member of the theft ring to be sentenced. Harold Swan III, Joel Hinze, Trenton Palmer, Shawn Connelly and Richard Jones are the other five participants sentenced for these fraudulent scheme.
