German police say two people killed in hospital shooting
September 20th, 2010 - 1:30 am ICT by BNO NewsLORRACH, GERMANY (BNO NEWS) — Two people were killed on early Sunday evening when a woman opened fire at a hospital in southern Germany, police said.
A Lorrach police official told BNO News that the shooting happened around 6.30 p.m. local time when a woman opened fire inside the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lorrach, a city in the southern state of Baden-Württemberg.
“Two people are dead,” the police official said. “The shooting is over now and we are investigating.”
It was not immediately clear if the suspected shooter was among the casualties, or if any other people were injured.
