German Embassy on fire after a bomb blast

The blast targets German Embassy in Kabul and now the building is on fire. After a massive explosion at the German Embassy in Kabul, At least three civilians have been killed according to wire reports.

Many of the cars and a larger tanker is burning outside the embassy after the explosion. The rescue workers are helping to carry the bodies from the site of the explosions and there are blood stains on the road.

Earlier on 30 November,2008, a suicide bomb had struck a German embassy car in the capital Kabul, killed at least five Afghan civilians and that time the blast occurred outside Habibia Highschool in Kart-e-Char on Sunday at about 2.30pm. It is thought that one of the dead Afghan civilians worked for the city council as a road cleaner and another was a young boy.

The suicide bomber had strapped explosives to a bicycle before detonating the bomb as the German embassy car passed by. The bomb exploded outside the boy’s highschool on Darulaman Road.
