George Bush says that he would waterboard 9/11 plotter again

Washington DC, Jun 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The former United States President George Walker Bush has given the hint yet again, that he does not regret using the controversial warterboard technique on terrorists, to gain some information from them.

George Bush said he wouldn’t desist to order the waterboard interrogation again, to save American lives. The former President was speaking at the Economic Club of Grand Rapids. George Bush also defended his invasion of Iraq in 2003, and said the world is now a better place without Saddam Hussein.

It ought to be mentioned that in 2003, Khalid Sheikh Mohammad was captured in Pakistan. Till now, Sheikh Mohammad remains the most senior Al Qaeda operative who is in United States’ custody. During interrogation to get confession from Sheikh Mohammad, the CIA used the waterboard technique. The technique simulates drowning, and is said to be very torturous.

Sheikh Mohammad confessed during the harsh interrogation technique, that he masterminded the September 11 attacks in the United States of America, and because of this confession he is due to be sentenced in New York.

However the Obama administration has described the technique as torture, and said that they have banned the technique.
