August 17, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Gen. Stanley McChrystal happened to be the commanding individual of the American military, who had recently vocalized his disparagement of certain bureaucrats associated with the federal administration of Barack Obama. This criticism had emanated from the General while he was the commander of the American forces in the Afghan conflict. He had mentioned these controversial views in a dialogue with Rolling Stone, which is a magazine. This vilification by the General obviously did not generate happiness in the White House. The General was sacked in July by Obama.

The General, now retired, has a new job in his hands now. Politico had vocalized on Monday that the fresh responsibility of McChrystal happens to be that of a teacher. He has embraced the offer of educating the students at Yale University. Therefore, his commission will be radically dissimilar now. He will no longer be responsible for eliminating the terrorists of the Taliban. He will now edify the graduate students at the Jackson Institute of Global Affairs at New Haven. He, certainly, will carry his immense military knowledge to the teaching job.

Yale has also released a proclamation about this development. It has pronounced that the course that is going to be taught by McChrystal this fall will meticulously assess the manner in which spectacular transformations in globalization have amplified the complicatedness of contemporary leadership.

McChrystal has issued a response that he is eager to share his understanding and insights as a professional military officeholder.
