The health officials of Scotland concern about protecting safety of the blood donations, ban gay blood donor.
The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) leaded by Keith Thompson said their responsibility is to ensure that the blood was as safe as possible. They also warned HIV infections among bisexual men were rising to 86 % of all new HIV infections last year in Scotland.
Campaigners had said that France, Italy and Spain had all lifted a blanket ban on gay men giving blood.
However the figures showed that some gay men were continuing to give blood despite being asked not to do so.
