Miami, June 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Bret Carr, the filmmaker son of late heiress Gail Posner, has filed papers in a Miami court claiming that he is the rightful heir of the property of her mother that she has passed over to her three pet dogs.

Reports claim that the heiress who was famous for her love for her three dogs, has left her Miami Beach mansion worth around $8.3 million and a $3 million trust to her three dogs named Conchita, April Maria and Lucia. While the dogs are now enjoying the full-time staff and weekly spa treatment, Gail Posner’s only son is left with only $ 888,261 (600,000) in the will.

The petition filed by Bret Carr in the Miami Court says that while he should have remained the sole owner of the property, his mother was brainwashed by the household staff that had allegedly coerced her to leave behind much of her property in the name of the three dogs. In his filing, he has mentioned that his mother had always been “deeply disturbed” and that the housekeepers along with other personal aides, had fed her heavy doses of painkillers before getting her change the will that went in favor of the dogs.

The lawyer of Bret Carr has mentioned to media sources that Gail Posner had a serious drug problem along with cancer and also suffered from bipolar disorder. At the same time, the lawyers also added that Gail Posner belonged to that category of people who get easily influenced by others. However, all other people involved in the case have declined to comment on the matter.
