kyioJuly 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A friend of the stepmother of the seven-year-old missing boy Kyron Horman appeared in front of a grand jury on Monday in the case of the disappearance of the boy. An attorney of DeDe Spicher revealed to the media that the woman was subpoenaed to meet the jury in the courthouse at Portland in the state of Oregon. Although a suspect has not been named by the authorities as yet, fingers have pointed at the missing boy’s stepmother Terri Horman as she was the last person to have seen the boy before his disappearance on June 4.

While revealing details of the meeting of DeDe Spicher with the panel in the Portland courthouse, her attorney Chad Stavley stated that it was a preliminary session that lasted for a short while adding that she might face the jury once again. The lawyer further went on to say that the prosecutors did not ask any specific questions to her client pertaining to the case but asked her to return at a future date. Meanwhile, the parents of the missing boy Kaine Horman and Desiree Young released a statement on Friday in which they emphasized that DeDe Spicher has declined to cooperate with the police authorities which had hindered the investigation to find the whereabouts of the seven-year-old boy. At the same time, the statement also described the woman was close to Terri Horman and provide her with support and advise which were ‘not in best interests of their son.’

However, the claims of Kyron Horman’s parents has been refuted by Chad Stavley who emphasized that his client was fully cooperative with the cops and had also met the lead investigator of the case for three hours last week.
