Fort Hood shooting suspect regains consciousness

FORT SAM HOUSTON, TEXAS (BNO NEWS) — U.S. Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who is the suspect in the shooting rampage at Fort Hood in Texas last Thursday, has regained consciousness, a spokeswoman for the hospital told BNO News on Monday.
Hasan is currently hospitalized at the Brooke Army Medical Center, where he remains in “critical but stable condition,” a spokeswoman said. She said Hasan is conscious and is talking with hospital staff. The spokeswoman did not know if Hasan had talked with investigators.
