Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Malik Hasan paralyzed chest down
November 23rd, 2009 - 7:24 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattTexas, Nov 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In what can be termed as poetic justice, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who is charged with killing 13 people at the largest US military base in Fort Hood, Texas, on November 5, 2009, is now paralyzed from the chest down, as a result of the 4 bullets which entered his body in the shoot-out. His shoot-out, which mowed down 13 people, is said to be the worst act of terrorism since 911 on U.S. soil.
This diagnosis was confirmed by his lawyer John Galligan that he is unable to move from the chest down. A magistrate ruling until his military trial has confined the Fort Hood gunman.
Hasan is recovering from gunshot wounds at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. No date has been set yet for his military trial.
However, there is a new twist in the tale as, investigation agencies have probed and found a possible 9/11 link with the Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan.
An investigating official said that, ‘Army massacre fiend Nidal Malik Hasan attended a Virginia mosque at the same time as two of the 9/11 hijackers — and the FBI is now investigating whether there is a connection between the men’.
