Former Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable is dead

The former Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable has died an untimely death. He was just 40 years old. The cause of his death was not known. Apparently there was a medical emergency and so the emergency services were called at his abode, but the wait for the services proved too late for the drummer.

When the medical services came onto his abode in Llwydcoed near Aberdare, Cynon Valley, then they pronounced that the drummer had already breathed his last. He died in the wee hours on Monday.

Cable’s family confirmed the death and according to reports, his mother Mabel is shocked at the sudden death of her son. She said that the news was yet to sink in, as it was so shocking. She said that, “Stuart has traveled all over the world with the band and I have worried myself silly. He is now settled down and then this has happened. It has not sunk in yet.”

Whereas Stuart’s brother Paul said that, “The family has no further comment to make at this stage. It is in the hands of the police.”

Stuart Cable was one of the founder members of the Stereophonics band, when it was formed in 1992. However he was shown the door by the band in 2003. Later Stuart had a flourishing career in the radio and in the TV industry.
