Kent, Feb 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A former solider who tried to murder his wife with a car bomb, is denying the charge. There are reports that the bomb expert took hold of a hand grenade during his military training exercise and later he attached to his wife’s car’s wheel. The grenade was fixed in such a way that whenever his wife would drive the car then the bomb would explode and endanger her life.

When Nicholas’ wife Victoria started to drive her car then the grenade exploded and caused her immense injuries. However her 8-year-old son Charlie and her unborn child were unhurt in this mishap.

There are also reports, which suggest that Nicholas took the extreme measure after his wife had confronted him about the affair.

However Nicholas Fabian says in his defense that he never wanted to endanger the life of his wife and their unborn kid. He said about the incident that, “I was trying to save her life. In my head I was thinking I was going to lose her and lose the baby as well.” He also added that he was having an affair with his colleague Jackie Phillips and now he felt embarrassed and ashamed about it.
