Like most of the previous episodes of the news magazine, even last night’s episode was able to generate extensive attention among the viewers as it featured the former head of a radical Muslim extremist in conversation with CBS reporter Lesley Stahl.

In the latest episode of the CBS news magazine, the viewers got the opportunity to witness the discussions that the former member of the Muslim extremist group, Maajid Nawaz has with Lesley Stahl. One of the high points of the show turned out to be the segment where the Maajid Nawaz talks about a distinct ideology which he calls ‘the narrative’ which brings to light the perception that United States is considered to be at war with Islam as the country’s main mission is the destruction of the religion. The former extremist member also goes on to say that it is this ideology called ‘the narrative’ that is the prime reason which results in the escalation of the home-grown jihadists such as the incident where a United States army major went into a shooting spree in Ft.
