Tanisha’s grandfather said that the dog attacked her, when she was trying to kiss it. The little girl didn’t know that the innocent looking animals could have a ferocious side as well.

The neighbors were astonished at the incident and said that Tanisha was a very pretty blonde girl. She is a student of the Bellinge Primary School student and was said to be “bubbly” and “lovely”.

The police were also summoned to help in the rescue attempt. The police came in at around 1915 BST at Hanemill Court. The police added that the American bulldog is not banned under the ‘Dangerous Dogs Act’. But after this attack, the law might be changed. The spokesman for the Northamptonshire Police revealed that the culprit in the attack “was contained at the scene”. He also divulged that they are planning to kill the bull dog, but in a humane manner.
