First Maryland Silver Alert Issued For Missing Adult

Maryland, Nov.3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Silver Alert has been issued by the Maryland State Police after Arthur Mulkey was reported to be missing. The authorities issue the Silver Alert for notifying missing of an elderly person who is suffering from cognitive disorders. As stated by the sources, people had not seen Mr. Mulkey, who is a resident of Howard County after Sunday. The sources reporting the incident also stated that the ‘vulnerable’ adult for the last time was seen on eastbound I-70′ route 40.
The Silver Alert has come into effect from last month and the state has issued its first Silver Alert after Arthur Mulkey was reported missing. According to the reports, Arthur Mulkey’s height is 5 feet and seven inches. The man is eighty four years old, has blue eyes and gray hairs. The sources also stated that the man weighs around one hundred and sixty pounds.
Arthur Mulkey, who was not seen after Sunday was driving 2000 Chevrolet S-10 truck. It was of red color and had 46L477, Maryland registration. Police officials had tried to give all the possible information about the missing person so that people can find him. Norther district’s Howard County Police had stated that someone who would get the information of Howard Mulkey should call 911.
Silver Alert system has been adopted by many countries of the United States. This system helps people know about a missing person who has some disorders. Generally, the Silver Alert is used for providing missing information of elderly people. It is expected that the Silver Alert issued in Maryland county would help in finding the missing man.
