Las Vegas, Jan 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) At an adult Expo in Las Vegas the first life-size robot girlfriend Roxxxy was unveiled on the 9th of January. This life like model is the brainchild of Douglas Hines who is also the president of True Companion, which is the company that designed Roxxxy. The company had been designing the robotic and life like girlfriend robots since 1983.

True Companion’s had designed the first robotic companion in 1983 and it was named Trudy. After Trudy the company started improvising on the prototype and Hines said that Roxxxy is the accumulation of over 20 years of research and improvisations. The new companion robot is quite anatomically human like with an articulated skeleton, flesh like skin, and even a mechanical heart that powers the robot’s cooling system. Hines and his team at True Companion did their best to create an artificial intelligence that was as life like as possible. Roxxxy is 5 feet and 7 inches tall, and she weighs 120lbs, and has a full C cup.

Roxxxy was designed to be a companion like a human being. Hines says that “She’s a companion. She has a personality. She hears you. She listens to you. She speaks. She feels your touch. She goes to sleep. We are trying to replicate a personality of a person”, Hines said. Speaking to Roxxxy’s other abilities Hines was quoted as saying, “She can’t vacuum, she can’t cook but she can do almost anything else if you know what I mean.”
