Nairobi, Mar 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kenyan officials have confirmed that 7/7 widow Samantha Lewthwaite, wanted for her role in the 2005 bombings in the United Kingdom, has indeed entered the country. Samantha is a fugitive and has evaded capture.

Kenyan officials confirmed to newsmen that fingerprint samples sent to Britain have come back positive as belonging to Samantha. UK terrorist experts have entered Kenya and are working alongside the CIA and the Kenyan officials to track the 28-year-old who is a converted Muslim.

Kenyan officials are searching for Samantha on suspicion that she is the main financier of the Islamic terror organization Al Shabaab. The Somali-based organization is linked with Al qaeda and the group has carried out several terror attacks in East Africa which has resulted in the deaths of thousands of people.

Samantha’s family back in the United Kingdom told police that she has not contacted them for years. However, Kenyan officials say Samantha entered the country with a forged South African passport which had the name Natalie Faye Webb.

She is said to have rented several apartments in the country and a search in those apartments yielded several evidences which confirmed her identity and linked her to terrorist activities.

Samantha is a widow of one of the terrorists who blew himself up during the 7th of July 2005 attacks in the United Kingdom which claimed the lives of about 52 people. When the incident happened, Samantha was seven months pregnant for the husband who is blamed for killing half of the victims when he blew himself up.
