Fenton gets festive in viral makeover
December 16th, 2011 - 9:18 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Dec 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A British man’s quest to stop his dog has become an Internet sensation and it promises to make people millions as well. Max Findlay never knew that chasing Fenton around in the park could become an Internet sensation let alone a buzz that has been turned into T-shirts and ringtones.
As if that was not massive enough, the advertising agency theminimart.com has gone a step further. The company has come out with their version of the video which has Rudolph and Santa Claus, instead of Findlay chasing the dog.
In the original video, Findlay could be heard shouting “Fenton” as he chased the creature. The dog was scaring the deer on the park and that was what Findlay was trying to stop. He could be heard swearing as his frustration level went up. The dog seems to be enjoying itself while chasing the animal around.
The video went viral and it has been viewed more than three million times on the Internet. It has thus become one of the most famous videos on YouTube.
The Mini Mart hopes to cash in on the fame of the video and with the Christmas coming up, the Santa flavor seems the perfect blend.
