s-body-scan-images-saved Washington DC, Aug 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) This might be some alarming news because the feds and the TSA has finally admitted that they store the body scans and apparently that is not all. They also save them for future use.

They are able to get the body scans from the various security checkpoints. One of the governmental agencies has also candidly confessed to having 35,000 body scans, which they managed to obtain from the visitors to a federal courthouse. This sure manages to raise privacy concerns of all those people, whose scans have been saved by the federal agency.

Earlier the federal agencies used to have another contrary stand when they claimed that they didn’t save any of the body scans. But now they have finally admitted that this is not true. According to reports, the US Marshals Service confessed that they had in their database thousands of body scans, which were recorded with the aid of a millimeter wave system in a courthouse, which is located in Florida.

The advocates of privacy have always raised a voice against the blatant use of body scans at various security check-points, as they feel that it invades the individual’s right to privacy. And now after the candid confessions of the feds and TSA over storing the images, some more hue and cry is going to be raised for sure.
