video BarbieDec 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The FBI has issued notice over the serious case involving a Barbie doll which could probably be a trap set for child pornography. The new Barbie “Video Girl” doll has been declared as a tool deployed by pedophiles to make child pornography. To combat this kind of child abuse the FBI squad has alarmed the parents to be careful about the doll, discouraging them not to buy the Barbie “Video Girl” doll.

According to sources, the alert is being called “Barbie ‘Video Girl’ a Possible Child Pornography Production Method”. FBI investigators have found out that the doll has a built-in -hidden camera in its chest and possesses a mini LCD screen on her back for video display. Although there has been no allegations as of now made against the Barbie doll, but FBI is not ruling out any chances for it. This particular doll has been in the market since it was launched in July. The doll is priced for $49.99 and has been declared for only children who are six and above. Without any kind of complaints till now, FBI was still forced to issue an alert against it after they found out that an individual charged with child pornography had distributed the doll to a six year old girl.

This case is seen by the investigators in connection to other cases where instances of a hidden video camera had gone for child pornography recordings. However, there was no doll used in such cases. As soon as the news sprung up many parents were seen taking it as a serious note declaring that they will never get it for their children. Surprisingly this Barbie has been nominated for Toy of the Year Award.
