FBI Director visits Islamabad, Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN (BNO NEWS) – U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Robert Mueller III visited Islamabad, Pakistan on Wednesday, a spokesman announced.

Director Mueller attended a U. S.-Afghanistan-Pakistan tripartite session as well as meetings with Pakistani officials at the Intelligence Bureau, the Federal Investigation Agency, and the Inter-Services Intelligence Headquarters.

“The tripartite session was an effective discussion, conducted in a positive and productive manner and focused on our shared concerns,” said Director Mueller.

The tripartite interior session resulted in the agreement of timelines and deadlines for their cooperation on counter terrorism and major crimes. The three parties also agreed to meet again to monitor progress.
