Facebook Used By Man To Lure Teenage Boys Into Sex

Sydney, Aug 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There have been several complaints against the popular social networking sites including Facebook and the allegations include unwanted invasions into the privacy of the users. However, in a latest development a man in Sydney has been arrested for luring teenage boys in to sex and doing so by means of Facebook. The incident as sent shock waves among the parents whose kids and teenage offspring are addicted to Facebook. The cops were contacted by a number of boys that they got approached by a man through Facebook who offered them sexual guidance. They are mostly high school students and below 15 years of age.
The cops got alarmed and they traced the man who was sending such tempting offers to the boys. They found the man in Sydney’s west at Blacktown. At the home they came across a lot of child pornography material. They subsequently arrested a 19 year old person and slapped charges of child pornography possession on him. Later the man was given conditional bail. He will have to appear in the Blacktown Local Court in September. The cops said that they are coming across similar instances in recent times.
While the boys who got in touch with the Police acted wisely there are some others who cannot take the right decision when faced with such illicit proposals. In turn they are often molested and exploited sexually by the so called online predators. The Police have said that they will take stringent action against such offenders and ensure the predators get severe punishment if they are caught trying to lure teen boys in to sex.
