Florida, Aug 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The popularity of the social networking sites have got millions of people hooked to them and the number of such people are rising by leaps and bounds over the years. However, there is a flip side to technology and in some instances careless usage of such services may land a person in unprecedented trouble. However, what happened to Harry William Bruder a 54 year old resident of Florida perhaps crossed all limits of probability. The man was sent to prison and his crime was that he had sent a friend request to his estranged spouse through Facebook, a very popular social networking site. Incredible as it may sound to many, this is not an incident taken from the page from a fiction!
The deputies of the Pasco sheriff said that the man, Harry William Bruder breached a domestic violence injunction he was serving on July 20. That was when he had sent his separated wife a friend request on Facebook. The injunction reportedly prohibited the man from communicating with his estranged wife by email, any third party service or internet services. He was also banned from contacting Carole Bruder in real life.
Carole Bruder got in touch with the deputies when she had come across the friend request sent to her by her ex husband. He sent the request via Facebook two times to her she said. When the deputies confronted the man he admitted that he had sent the friend request despite knowing the fact it would violate the injunction that was imposed on him. Apart from that he also altered the email password of his estranged wife.
