Facebook celebrates Doppelganger week

Palo Alto, Feb 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Facebook is quite popular for its quizzes, and for the viral farming game Farmville. And now another craze is sweeping the Facebook users, and it is the Doppelganger week. The Doppelganger week is basically a celebrity look-alike trend. However some critics are of the opinion that it is in direct violation of the social website’s terms of service agreement.
Doppelganger started when someone sent a message to his friends that said, “It’s Doppelganger week on Facebook; change your profile picture to someone famous (actor, musician, athlete, etc.) You have been told you look like. After you update your profile with your twin or switched at birth photo then cut/paste this to your status.” And since that moment, there has been no looking back, it has simply became a viral thing.
The Facebook users diligently responded to this request by doing the needful. Many of the users are also searching for celebrity photo generators on the Internet. These celebrity photo generators on the Internet allow the particular user to upload an image so as to match it with a celebrity look-alike. Through the generator many people have found the exact celebrity, whom they resemble, however not everyone is in for such luck.
