Los Angeles, California, Oct 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Maybe now ESPN reporter Erin Andrews can heave a sigh of relief and rest back in some peace. Her alleged stalker cum tormentor in the relation to the infamous hotel room peeping tom incident, has supposedly been placed under police custody. It is widely known that after the notorious peephole video had made its way all over the Internet, Erin had admitted being paranoid regarding the invasion of her personal space and had acted off the edge as well as jaunty, on many ensuing incidents.
The man who has been arrested on the suspicion of the peephole incident is reportedly one Michael David Barrett, who was arrested by the authorities at the Chicago O’Hare International Airport on Friday. According to the reports of the Chicago Tribune Website, the 48 year old Barrett is going to be tried in Los Angeles.
When he was produced in the court yesterday, he had reportedly replied in the affirmative when asked if he was the one who has been indicted of the charges in the peak hole incident. There will be one more hearing in Chicago, before Barrett is to be transferred by the authorities to Los Angeles in order to go through the entire trial.
According to the FBI reports, it appears that Erin Andrews was not a random, accidental victim. Barrett had followed her for quite sometime, from one city to other and had somehow managed hotel authorities to give him the room next to hers. He was reportedly tracked down via his email when he had attempted to sell the nude videos to a website.
