Eiffel Tower Sep 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to a breaking news report from AFP, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, along with nearby buildings and the Champ de Mars, has been evacuated on Tuesday night after a bomb threat was reported.

Just before 9:00 pm, multiple police officers were quietly evacuating citizens at the Eiffel Tower and the building nearby where twenty-five thousand people were located, according to a police officer at the scene.

The officer, who wished to remain anonymous, stated to L’Alsace that they had received a phone call in which it was reported that there was a bomb at the Eiffel Tower. A suspicious package was then found. Tourists were seen huddles on the banks of the Seine and barriers were set up to keep people away from the area.
