Dutch soldier injured in Afghanistan: ministry
January 25th, 2010 - 10:38 pm ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )KABUL (BNO NEWS) — A Dutch soldier was injured during a recent operation in Afghanistan’s Uruzgan province, the Dutch Defense ministry said on Monday.
The incident happened in ‘recent days,’ the ministry said, but provided no exact date. “Due to the nature of the operations by the special forces of Task Force 55, no additional details will be released,” it said in a statement.
The injured soldier is expected to remain in Uruzgan and will soon resume his duties. He personally informed his family of his injuries.
