Berlin, Feb 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The drunken driving German bishop – Margot Kaessmann has resigned. She is the head of over 25 million German Protestants, and she was caught driving while being drunk, so she had no option but to save face, and resign. Her various antics have earned her the name of ‘A mixture between Mother Teresa and Demi Moore’, by the media.
“Last Saturday, I made a big mistake,” Margot Kaessmann said to the reporters. “My heart tells me quite clearly that I cannot stay in office with the necessary authority . . . I hereby resign from all my Church responsibilities. I am very sorry to have disappointed many people who asked me to remain in office, and those who trustingly voted for me.”
The police officials said that the 51 year old Margot Kaessmann had been “completely unfit to drive” after they pulled over her luxury Volkswagen Phaeton saloon. This happened quite late on Saturday. She surpassed a red light 500 meters from her home, in her inebriated condition. The police asked her to take a breathanalyser test, and she promptly failed the test. The police found that the alcohol level in her body was many times over the legal permissible limit.
