Dr. Jack Kevorkian Says, “I Have No Regrets”
June 15th, 2010 - 8:06 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York City, Jun 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The doctor who assisted patients to commit suicide has said he has no regrets over what he did. He was speaking to Dr. Sanjay Gupta of CNN. “I have no regrets, none whatsoever,” Dr. Kevorkian said. Dr. Sanjay Gupta said that, “There haven’t been many times when I have been at a loss for words when conducting an interview as a medical reporter. This was one of those moments.”
The 82 year old Dr. Jack Kervokian, also said the worst thing that ever happened to him, was being born.
Dr Kervokian ironically said he was not ready to die, after assisting so many people to their graves. He said he has three missions to achieve before he finally leaves this world. He noted that his first mission was to inform mankind of an “impending doom” for the human race. He says mankind’s culture of overabundance will lead to extinction of the human race from the earth.
He said that his second mission was to educate people to understand the philosophy behind his assisted suicides. He calls the process as “patholysis”.
His third mission is to convince Americans that their rights have been infringed upon. He believes Americans should be given the right to know when they want to live and die.
But will he succeed before he dies? That remains to be seen.
