The animals, which come from six different countries, have taken part in the event, which took place last Sunday in the Hungarian capital, Budapest.
The competition consists of a number of stages. In one of these, the canines and their owners had to perform a routine named “toss and fetch freestyle” to music.
The winners of the tournament are awarded the European title. They are also guaranteed a place in the world Frisbee disc dog championships, which will take place in the US in September.
One dog owner said that, “It all depends on the perfect harmony between dog and handler.”
