Dog honks for help when left locked in a car

Upper Macungie TWP, July 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) They have often been described as man’s best friend but these pals have shown over the years that they are more than just friends, they are our partners who also learn simple everyday tasks.

There has been reports of dogs running home to get help for ailing owners and sometimes even dialing emergency numbers to alert rescue workers of emergencies, that affect their owners.

But a chocolate Labrador saved its own life with a smart move. The dog called Max was left in a locked car by its owner.

Max, 11 was accidentally left in the car after the owner, Donna Gardner rode around town with the dog. When she got home, Donna forgot that Max was still in the car when she locked the car and inside her house.

But the dog was not ready to die an agonizing death. Max reportedly honked the car’s horn several times, until Donna finally realized the mistake and rescued the dog from the car. Max was rushed to the vet where it was determined that the dog had not suffered any major injuries.

However Max was dehydrated, as a result of the heat in the car.
