Nov 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Disgraced former solicitor Angus Diggle who lost his fame and reputation after getting mired in a sex scandal way back in the early 90s, is back in news again. He has been given an Asbo which means that he cannot go to any pub in his home town. The order is valid for a two year period. As if this is not enough, he has also been barred from using trains and getting into railway premises when he is in an intoxicated state. Ever since his fall from grace the ex-solicitor had several brushes with law. The magistrate who issued the order remarked that this order ‘was necessary to protect people from further anti-social acts’ committed by Angus Diggle.

The court order also says that if he is caught breaking the order anytime he will have to spend another 5 years behind the bars. In the recent past he has been seen doing things which crosses all thresholds of civility and discipline. He spent 3 years in prison after getting convicted of raping a fellow lawyer in the 1990s. After his downfall he got into heavy drinking and never succeeded in redeeming his position. The cops arrested him a number of times for drunkenness.

A neighbor of the disgraced ex-solicitor said in his statement “Angus used to be charming but the scandal left him ruined. He’s obviously bitter.” Apart from ruining his career with his sexual molestation act, he suffered other blows in his life as well. He was grieved deeply when his mother passed away a few months back.
