Did Vladimir Putin don makeup to hide his black eye?
October 29th, 2010 - 7:36 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattMoscow, Oct 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Russian president and current prime minister Vladimir Putin has always been seen by outsiders as the strongman of Russia after his escapades as a former spy as well as his art and skill as a judo fighter with a black belt. Photos of Putin have shown him on the back of a horse without a shirt as well as fighting with tigers and bears.
Putin, 58 years recently appeared in Ukraine in a press conference and was seen with strange features such as swollen and blackened eyes that had been hidden under heavy makeup and this has started a huge wave of rumors. Some rumors state that the prime minister is having problems with his wife while others state that he might have undergone cosmetic surgery or become bruised from a judo practice session.
However Putin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov denied any bruises in his eyes in an interview with Russian news website Gazeta.ru according to a report in The Moscow Times and stated that the media may have seen wrongly due to the kind of lighting that was available in the hall where the press conference was held.
