New York, Mar 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is mounting speculation that the CIA used to test LSD on the hapless users of the New York subway. A declassified FBI report also adds fuel to the fire, as it provides some support for this CIA and LSD theory. The FBI report is from the Baltimore field office, and it is dated 25th August 1950, and it states that, “The BW [biological weapon] experiments to be conducted by representatives of the Department of the Army in the New York Subway System in September 1950, have been indefinitely postponed.”

Besides the declassified FBI report, another book titled - ‘A Terrible Mistake: The Murder of Frank Olson and the CIA’s Secret Cold War Experiments’ also talks about Dr. Henry Eigelsbach, who is an ex CIA research scientist. He says that the LSD tests used to be done on the subway commuters in the 1950’s. But all the same, there is neither documented proof nor evidence about the results of these bizarre tests. The book spares no effort to criticize the premier investigative agency – the CIA, for their crazy ideas about performing such bizarre experiments, on the unsuspecting public in the subways.

It was also being reported that the person behind these LSD tests on the subway commuters was Frank Olsen, who ironically died from LSD poisoning himself.
