Paris, April 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After nearly two years and several attempts, the debris of the Air France plane that crashed in 2009 killing all on board has been found. The body was found about two-and-a-half miles below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean.

The remains of the flight were found on Saturday using a tiny submarine with a sonar scanner attached to it. The location of the debris was about 600 miles off the coast of Brazil. The search has already caused the rescuers about $28 million.

The parts of the plane were not only what the search team found. A scan at the location where the plane was found showed images of bodies that were dragged to the bottom of the ocean when the accident happened. The search team says it could take up to four weeks for the debris and the bodies to be brought out of the ocean.

The Air France Flight 447 was going to Paris from Rio de Janeiro when it crashed into the Atlantic Ocean on the 1st of June 2009. All the 228 passengers along with the crew of the flight died. Currently not more than 50 people have been recovered from the sea.
