New Orleans, Mar 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is quite surprising to receive an apology letter from a sniper but it is true that the infamous D.C. area sniper, Lee Boyd Malvo had sent an apology letter to the man, whom he had shot in the Hammond Square Mall’s parking lot. As per the reports, Lee Boyd Malvo had sent a letter to John C. Gaeta in which he expresses remorse for his deed. He also said that he felt relief when he came to know that he was alive.
Though the letter of the D.C. sniper had made John C. Gaeta glad, reports indicate that he has doubts about the sentiments of Lee Boyd Malvo. The Louisiana resident, John C. Gaeta, who had been shot by the convicted sniper had not made any comments to the media expressing his doubts regarding the sentiments of the sniper.
It has been reported that the sniper had made a confession to the Louisiana detectives last month and said that he had shot John C. Gaeta in the parking lot. Reports indicate that the sniper considered that the victim had died and did not have any information that he is alive even after sustaining those injuries.
According to the reports, the shooting incident in which John C. Gaeta was injured formed the part of the criminal activity planned by John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo. It was one of the most tragic incidents and had claimed the lives of ten people. The incident had terrorized people in the Washington D.C. area for as long as three weeks. Reports state that John Allen Muhammad had been executed by the lethal injection but his partner is still living and had regretted for his crime.
