Nov 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Daylight Saving Time is ending on Sunday November 7th in various parts of the world. This can be a tad problematic for those who live in the regions where this practice is followed but they fail to observe it. Now it is time for turning back the clocks by one hour. For some people the closure of Daylight Saving Time is not happy at all as it indicates the onset of winter. For the elderly lot who stay alone it can actually prove to be cumbersome as they would have to alter the time of every single clock in their house. The alarm timing will also have to be changed accordingly in the clocks.
The authorities in various U.S. states where Daylight Savings Time is observed are also urging the residents that while they turn back the timing of their clock they should change smoke alarms in their houses. It is essential for the safety of the house as well as the dwellers but most people generally forget this. Those who need to take birth control pills and other types of medications at a set interval every day need to remember about the closure of Daylight Saving Time as well. The time needs to be adjusted before they take their pills.
The women who take birth control pills in particular need to be very careful about the timing as in some cases the effectiveness of the pill depends on the time of consumption. For some other people the end of the Daylight Saving Time means that they can get one more hour of sleep.
