New York, Jan 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) David Copperfield’s accuser – Lacey Carroll, has been charged with prostitution. She had accused the illusionist David Copperfield of sexually assaulting her. She had claimed that the illusionist David Copperfield had raped her on his private island in the Bahamas. This incident happened in 2007. However the federal investigators had dropped the investigation in January 2010, as her testimony was not credible at all. And now in the wake of the prostitution claims, her testimony as a rape victim is totally shot.

Currently Lacey Carroll is in the midst of another investigation, as the Washington state police interrogated her, over the allegations that she tried to extort $2000 from a businessman for sexual favors. She told the businessman that she would have sexual intercourse with him, for cash, after she performed oral sex on him. This interlude with the businessman happened in Bellevue on the 2nd of December 2009.

When the smart businessman refused to pay, then the cunning Lacey Carroll complained to the hotel personnel that she had been “taken advantage of.” She then called the police officers and complained of sexual harassment. Her account was then cross-examined with the hotel’s security footage, and then she was charged with filing an incorrect police report.
