danner-bootsDec 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Danner Boots seem to be the latest consumer craze right now. The LaCrosse Footwear Inc’s founding company received an overwhelming order of 5 million dollars for its Combat Hiker Boot recently. The order was placed by none other than the United States Army. This has increased the demand of the boots amongst the general consumers too.

Reportedly, the United States Army has decided to use these combat boots as part of their uniform for the US soldiers who are mainly posted in Afghanistan. Although the order seems to be very lucrative for the company, it might not be the main and the only provider of boots for the Army. The main USP of Danner Boots is that, it caters to the outdoor users. With its longevity and tough qualities, it has already earned the reputation of one of the best quality footwear around the world. The company has been leading the footwear business for several years. These Hiker Boots can easily combat the tough terrain and carry heavy loads. A rubber coating around the rand Starter protects the shoes from abrasion and damage from rock and scree. The battle walker that it has, is also shorter than those in standard military boots, which enables better mobility in steep slopes. The United States Army has assigned the company to provide these boots for the military by the end of 2010.

Joseph P. Schneider, president and CEO of LaCrosse Footwear, Inc said that they are extremely pleased to fill the order. They would try to meet the deadline at their earliest, while at the same time they would try to uplift the standard and the quality of the product to meet the demands and the expectations of the consumers. He takes a lot to pride to say that they would serve those people, who are serving their nation.
