Las Vegas, Dec 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 39-year-old biology teacher at the Chaparral High School on Friday got arrested for stealing.

Authorities later said that Danielle Garry admitted to them that she started taking out school equipment because times were hard for her economically. She has currently been charged with possession of stolen equipment and stealing. She has also been charged with obtaining money under false pretences.

Authorities at Chaparral High School realized that for sometime, some electronic items were missing from the school. A report was subsequently made to the police who found the school’s lost items in a shop. When police further checked the goods, they realized that Garry had sold the items to the shop.

When the police eventually confronted her, she admitted that she has been taking the things from the school but was quick to tell the investigators that she was ready to buy the stolen goods back from the shops and give it to the school.

Garry then famously told the police that, “Times are tough and I was just doing this to get me by and pay some bills.”

A jury will decide the charges against her on the 15th of February.
