dalia Aug 7 (IBNS) Newlywed Dalia Dippolito, after she arrived at her Florida, felt continuously inconsolable after police told her that her husband had been murdered.

But local authorities said her mournful sobs were just an act.

A newlywed is behind bars for allegedly paying a hit man to kill her husband.

Boynton Beach, Fla., police allege Dippolito’s tears and devastated demeanor were part of a carefully orchestrated performance, and that she actually hired a hit man to murder her husband of six months.

According to a probable cause affidavit, she gave pictures of her 38-year-old husband Michael Dippolito to the hit man and also gave him $1200 to purchase a handgun. She also handed him Michael’s daily schedule details.

On Monday afternoon, the undercover officer who was posing as a hit man arranged a meeting with Dalia Dippolito.

In that meeting, the officer demanded $3000 and the key to the couple’s house. The officer met her again in a pharmacy parking lot and asked if she still wanted him to kill her husband. In reply to the officer’s question, she just laughed away like a teenager.

She’s charged with solicitation to commit first-degree murder. Bond has not yet been set.
