Cupcake Wars Aired On Food Network

Dec. 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Television networks of the United States have planned different type of programs to entertain viewers in the holiday season. Food Network, a popular television network is no exception and has planned a unique show for its viewers. The first episode of the new show “Cupcake Wars”, was scheduled to air on December 27, 2009.
As the name suggested, “Cupcake Wars” has been focused only on baking cakes and contestants would be judged based on their baking and presentation skills. The format of the show is quite different from the other culinary contests that are being aired these days. Before the competition was aired on the television network, it has been reported that four contestants will prepare different types of cakes during the contest. Yet, they will not only have to prepare the best cakes but also will have to serve it in a presentable manner for winning the contest.
The reports also stated that the contestant who would win the competition would get his cake served in an award ceremony. However, the prize money of the competition has not been disclosed. The show has received popularity among the viewers even before it aired on the television networks. Not only the new format of the show but also the delicious cupcake recipes that the chefs prepared on the show made the show popular.
Cupcake is one of the most popular desserts and viewers expected to get some good tips of cupcake preparation from this show. They expected that the new cupcake recipes that they would learn from this show would help them prepare some delicious cupcakes in the holiday season.
