Dec.12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a latest development, the American Coast guard rescued a Royal Caribbean cruise ship crew member who reportedly jumped from the vessel when it was moving towards Miami. Barry Bena, the petty officer of Coast Guard said that the 31 year old crew named Robert Mado was seen in water about 5 miles from the Florida coast. It happened after the coast guard received a distress call from the cruise liner named Majesty of the Seas belonging to Royal Caribbean. Barry Bena also said that the coast guards pulled the man out of water and his condition seemed to be stable.
After being rescued Robert Mado was shifted to a hospital in Miami area for check up. The Coast guard is yet to know why Robert Mado was in water. However, a Royal Caribbean said that the man jumped in sea. He also said that a number of people saw Robert Mado jumping in the Sea. There could be a number of reasons why the crew jumped into the water but nothing has been confirmed as yet.
When the incident occurred the captain of the ship took prompt action. He instantly ;located the position of the ship using the GPS navigation system and informed the Coast guard about the incident. Had he not been prompt in his action, the life of the man could be in danger. The Majesty of the Seas liner was going to Bahamas from Miami when the incident took place.

This article mistakenly made this quote:
“The Majesty of the Seas liner was going to Bahamas from Miami when the incident took place.”
I was aboard this ship and we were RETURNING TO MIAMI from a 4 day trip - when then this incident took place - NOT “going to”
Maybe facts should be checked prior to print????? just saying

1st time cruiser you’re a 1st class moron. The point of the story is that the guy jumped off the ship, how, and why are important.
We don’t care where you were going, what you were eating at the time, or even what color nail varnish you were wearing that day either, you muppet.
Maybe posts should be vetted for usefulness prior to posting????? just saying
