Chuck E Cheese Recall Sep 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Consumer Product Safety Commission has given the orders to recall the 1.2 million toys that were distributed with the Chuck E. Cheese. The CPSC officials have asked the parents to take away the toys from their children, which were given as a part of the promotional package.

The toys in question are the light-up rings and toy eyeglasses, which were manufactured in China. The CPSC has given the green light for the recall because the toys have a small battery in them, which the children might accidentally swallow.

According to the CPSC officials these toys were part of the promotional package through the time period of April 2009 to August 2010. According to reports, as of now there have been no complaints against the toys, but the safety officials at CPSC are worried that the toys aren’t very durable and they could easily break. And if they break then the small battery, which is present in, their innards could be exposed and the children can be lured by it, and may swallow it. And if they are swallowed then they could lead to stomach problems and/or damage to the intestines as well.

Consumers can return the toys and get cash refund in its place.
