Marylebone, Nov 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The police are in hot pursuit of a couple who failed to settle a £572 bill at a restaurant. The couple really enjoyed themselves and it seems they had the whole thing planned out because they escaped after coming up with an excuse to smoke outside.

Their most expensive treat was a £285 bottle of Bollinger champagne that they ordered. They also had hare, venison and foie gras. The craft was perfected so well that the general manager of the restaurant was full of praise for the couple. He said that, “‘I never thought this crime was going to happen in this level of restaurant”.

He however further added that the couple might be “very stupid” to have come up with what they did if they were not brave enough for the consequences. The restaurant gave the description of the man. They revealed that he is 6ft tall with brown hair. At the time that the incident happened, he was wearing blue jeans and a jumper with the partner wearing dark sleeveless dress and a scarf.

The police is continuing with its investigation into the incident and the investigators are trying to identify if the incident has a precedent.
