brideJune 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jill Stapleton asked all the students of her dance school to be her bridesmaids which ended in her breaking the Guinness Book Of World Records for the ‘Most Bridesmaids In A Wedding’. The woman from Proctorville, Ohio said that it was exciting to share her wedding with so many people. She had asked all her students to pick their dresses in either purple or teal which are the school’s colors.

Jill Stapleton said that initially she thought of going away for the wedding but later changed her mind considering her students. She added that the students had played an important role in her wedding dream and they had to be a part of it.

With 110 bridesmaids turning up to walk down the aisle with her, she comfortably broke the previous record of 90 bridesmaids in a wedding. The little boys and girls, that were students of Jill’s Tumble World, were also equally excited about being the bridesmaid for Jill Stapleton and they made the fairy tale wedding dream come true for Jill Stapleton. She asked each of the bridesmaids to carry a single rose in lieu of the bridesmaid bouquet.

Jill Stapleton is a gymnastics instructor herself and the owner of Jill’s Tumble World. Her husband Chad Greenhill is a cheerleader for Marshall University. The news became a hot search after bloggers all over the world appreciated the couples effort to keep the young children happy. Earlier efforts to break the record includes Laura Tolley who invited 103 guests (90 women and 13 men) to become bridesmaids in her wedding.

Her claim was however turned down because the dresses of the bridesmaids did not match.
